Joy is a spiritual practice, and so it is time for us to do just that: practice our joy!

We know that the world around us often feels heavy, and so choosing joy, choosing to celebrate, is one of many simple acts of faith we get to do together to help ease that weight.
This year, our community has so many reasons to celebrate, and we want to honor every single one of them. What better way to do that than by coming together to share our gratitude with a Lovefeast and some delicious Moravian Sugar Cake?
When are we celebrating?
Save the date! This special service will take place on September 13th, 2026 at 10:00 AM.
What are YOU celebrating?
We want to lift up ALL the moments of joy in our lives so far this year, no matter the size! So whether your milestone is:
- Big: Retiring, starting a new job, graduating, or finishing a healthcare treatment—
- Or Small: Finally dropping that bag of donations off at Goodwill, keeping a houseplant alive, or consistently stretching in the morning, etc.—
We want to hear about it!
How to Share Your Joys:
Please share your celebrations with us so we can include them in our service! You can submit them in one of two ways:
- On Paper: If you join us in person for worship during the month of August, we will have cards at the back of our sanctuary for you to handwrite your celebrations before placing them in a collection basket.
- Digitally: Click this link if you would like to submit your celebrations online!
Send us your celebrations by September 7th! And then, come hungry for community, joy, and sugar cake on September 13th. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
