FAQs
How long is a worship service?
Our worship services are typically about an hour long and include singing hymns, responsive liturgies, a time of prayer, offering, a reading of our scriptures for the day, and a sermon.
Is there a nursery for my child during the service?
Presently we do have a nursery space that is just out the side entrance of our sanctuary space that is open for all our young friends and their caregivers, however it is not staffed and we ask caregivers to remain with their children if they choose to utilize this space. A speaker is available in the room for families to still hear the service.
Are my children welcome in the service?
YES! We welcome all of God’s children to join us for worship. We do have activity resources available for those who may like a coloring book or activity sheet, which can all be found at the back of the sanctuary when you arrive.
Can I partake in Holy Communion if I am not a member?
YES! As a Church in the Moravian Church denomination, Calvary practices an open table, meaning that the invitation to commune is extended to all those who have a personal relationship with Jesus
Christ as their Lord and Savior.
